OBSESSED WITH LIGHT

What do Alexander McQueen, Taylor Swift, Toulouse-Lautrec and Picasso have in common? They were each influenced by Loïe Fuller – visionary performer, impresario and the American inventor of modern dance. Highly unconventional, Fuller achieved stardom on her own terms. She revolutionized the visual culture of the early 20th century and her work continues to influence our cultural landscape. Anyone who has been to a rock concert has seen a modern version of Fuller's patented lighting techniques.

Directed by Sabine Krayenbühl and Zeva Oelbaum
